The International Innovation Agency ( the Agency ) is a non-for-profit association ( Verein ) formed in July 2020 drawing its mandate from A/RES/73/17 “ Impact of rapid technological change on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets.”. Its mission is to support its Member-States achieve SDG targets for the benefit of youth, using science, technology and innovation as a conduct.

190 United Nations members unanimously adopted the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The historical adoption of the SDG Agenda by the UN General Assembly approved seventeen (17) Sustainable Development Goals, a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all by 2030, replacing the 2015 MDGs.

"Impact of rapid technological change on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets" declared “ Science, technology and innovation for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets" as a cross-cutting theme” .
A/RES/73/17 encouraged “ U.N Member-States to continue to consider the impact of key rapid technological changes on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets in order to benefit from opportunities and address challenges, promote the development of national strategies and public policies, science, technology and innovation road maps, capacity-building and scientific engagement, and share best practices.”
Mr Malick Maachi and Mr Perry Geerlings formed in Zug, Switzerland the International Innovation Agency ( the Agency ) as a “not-for-profit” (Verein) multi-stakeholder initiative in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) drawing its mandate from A/RES/73/17
The World Sport Alliance IGO (the "Alliance) appointed the Agency for an exclusive mandate to restructure the Alliance. This appointment provides the Agency with full power and authority to promote, represent, secure financing and otherwise restructure the Alliance until its next General Assembly.
In addition to being responsible for the financial engineering, funding and the management of Alliance assets, the Agency is now the exclusive global integrator of the Alliance and is responsible for the financing and integration of ventures and public-private-partnerships on all Alliance Member-States.

Founded in 2020, the Agency is domiciled in Zug, Switzerland and maintains operations in St Maarten and Germany
Our Purpose and Values
At the Agency we aspire to nothing less than excellence, consistently striving for exceptional performance and achieving outstanding results to support the citizens of our member-states.
The purpose of the Agency is to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets, using science, technology and innovation as a conduct, at no cost to member-states and, to support the Alliance pursue its socio-economic initiatives on the territory of its member-states.
We promote cooperation between members, enabling us to develop strategies and policies in science, technology and innovation road maps while contributing towards the SDGs and sharing best practices.
We prioritize collaboration, mobilize capital and experienced management, in association with the private sector and assist in financing, operating and expanding private enterprises to contribute to the development of our members.
We facilitate the expansion of financial hubs in the territory of our members to attract foreign and domestic capital flow thereby building better financial market quality and creating employment.
We give confidence to members by making the resources of the Agency available to them, thus providing them with opportunity to adapt to rapid technology changes and to compete in the new global economy.
We work with purpose and use our resources to shorten the duration and lessen the degree of disequilibrium in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and targets of all members.
