Talent Should Never Be Limited by Circumstance

Talent is universal. Opportunity is not. WSA Scholarships are designed to close that gap.

Through the WSA ecosystem, talented young athletes will have the opportunity to access a world-class education and high-performance athletic development regardless of their financial circumstances.

Each year, selected Academy athletes will be eligible to receive fully funded scholarships designed to remove the financial barriers that can prevent promising young people from reaching their potential.

Scholarships will provide access to academic and athletic programs, accommodation, meals, clothing, and a living allowance through the age of 18, creating a complete environment in which students can focus on learning, training, competing, and developing as individuals.

Students will also have flexibility in how their scholarship experience is structured, with options that may allow them to return home at the end of the academic year, semester, or during designated weekends.

The goal is not simply to fund an education. The goal is to unlock a future.

A student who enters a WSA Academy as a promising young athlete could graduate with an education, international experience, professional sporting exposure, lifelong relationships, and the skills necessary to build a career—whether that career ultimately takes place on the field, in the boardroom, in the media, or elsewhere in the sports industry.

For students who do not become professional athletes during their initial scholarship period, the journey does not necessarily end at 18.

Through the WSA Global Games, outstanding students may have the opportunity to compete against athletes from other Academies for additional scholarship opportunities at the International Academy, potentially extending their education and athletic development until the age of 21.

WSA Scholarships are therefore about much more than financial assistance.

They represent a commitment to a simple principle:

A young person's future should be determined by their potential—not by the circumstances into which they were born.
