Vote on Snapshot
Voting takes place on Snapshot — a gasless (free), decentralized voting platform open to anyone holding an EVM wallet. Your vote is a cryptographically signed message: it's recorded on Snapshot's decentralized system without moving any assets or costing any gas.
Only United Citizens members aged 15 or older can vote, and each verified person can casts one vote. Not a member yet? See Become a United Citizen.
The voting schedule
There will be at least three rounds:
Rounds | Date |
|---|---|
Round 1 | Now until the 7th of November 2026 |
Round 2 | 14 November 2026 |
Round 3 | 21 November 2026 |
After Round 2, the three (3) states with the most votes become the final candidates. In Round 3, the host is chosen by simple majority. Here are the steps to vote :
1. Connect your wallet
Go to the United Citizen Snapshot space and click "Connect Wallet" (usually top right). This identifies you as an EVM wallet holder — it's free and requires no transaction.
2. Find your country
Browse the proposals in the space to see the list of countries you can vote for.
3. Make your choice
Select the country you want to host the WSA International Academy.
4. Sign to vote
Click "Vote" (or "Submit Vote"), then approve the signature request in your wallet. Signing is a secure action: it proves that you — the wallet owner — approve this specific choice at a specific block. It does not move any assets or cost any gas.
5. Confirmation
Your vote is recorded instantly on Snapshot's decentralized system, and you'll see a confirmation. Voting power isn't based on how many tokens you hold — it's one person, one vote.
6. The result
The host of the WSA International Academy is chosen by simple majority in the third and final round.
