The Transition Committee

The International Innovation Agency hereby announces the creation of the Transition Committee (Committee) of WSA and the appointment of H.E Miss Maria Da Conceição Évora, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports for the République de Guinée Bissau as Chairman of the Transition Committee of WSA.

The Committee has for responsibility to present the Alliance Strategy Plan for 2030 Period (ASP2030) and Alliance Initiative to Ministers of WSA, to oversee the applications of new members and to review, inform and advise Ministers on initiatives, issues, changes, and outreach activities relevant to the activities of WSA prior and until the General Assembly.

The creation of the Committee came with the suspension of the Executive Office of the President (EOP) of WSA, it marks an important step towards the end of the Restructuring of WSA and the final transfer of powers to Ministers which will be made during the first General Assembly of the organization in Dakar, Senegal on the sidelines of the Youth Olympic Games.

The Committee is composed of Ministers of Youth and Sports of:

1. The Republic of Ghana

2. La République du Niger

3. La République Centrafricaine

4. La République du Tchad

5. The Republic of Zambia

6. La République de Guinée Bissau

7. La République de Guinée

8. The People’s Republic of Bangladesh

9. La République du Burkina Faso
