Suspension of the Executive Office of the President of the Alliance (“EOP”)

The structure of the Executive Office of the President of the Alliance (“EOP”) has been suspended until the General Assembly and the powers necessary to finalise the restructuring mandate of the Agency that were conferred directly on the Agency are now entrusted to the Transition Committee.

The Transition Committee is now responsible for the conduct of the general operations of the Alliance until the organization of the first General Assembly and will exercise for this purpose all the powers conferred on it.

To this end, Dr. Medina, Chairman of the Board of Directors is responsible with the members of the Board of Directors to promote the Alliance Initiative and the Alliance Strategic Plan for the period 2024-2030 (ASP2030) to the Ministers of the Alliance and to formulate recommendations to the Restructuring Board and the Transition Committee. In accordance with the above, we invite National Directors to contact the Board of Directors to submit their written statements regarding their contributions to the organization before and during the restructuring of the Alliance.

Any request for information or communication from an Alliance National Director regarding the status of the transition and restructuring of the Alliance should now be communicated to Dr. Medina, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
