Host Country Campaign

Overview

The WSA Host Country Campaign is a large-scale global campaign organized by WSA to capture the will of citizens who will vote on where the Host Country of the International Academy of WSA will be hosted. Anyone can join, promote on social media and vote anonymously, ultimately shaping the future of WSA.

You can join the WSA Host Country Campaign to vote for your country as an Active Citizen and can also support the campaign as an Influencer.

What You Need to Join

To join the campaign and vote you must be 18 years old and have :

• 1 Email address

• 1 EVM Wallet

• 1 Account on X (Twitter)

Connect to the Campaign Portal

When you sign up for the campaign you will receive a link with instructions and updates throughout the campaign. When you connect to the campaign portal you will be asked to link your EVM wallet and X account. Linking these identities allows you to perform tasks and allows Nektar to track your participation and, to distribute NK5 tokens at the end of the campaign.

How it works

1. Connect your EVM wallet (e.g. EVM-based wallet like MetaMask)

2. Link your X account (formelly Twitter)

• Your EVM wallet will appear under Primary Identity.

• Your X account will appear as Secondary Identity.

• You can connect or disconnect your accounts from the widget at any time.

Important : the primary wallet you use to connect to the campaign is the wallet that will receive your NK5 at conversion.

Tasks, Points & NK5*

To participate in the campaign you must perform tasks with your EVM wallet and X account. These tasks involve voting, interacting with social media content, signing up for events or participating in surveys and polls. You can also be invited to interact with the content of Influencers on various platforms.

Some tasks are mandatory, others not but the more tasks you complete, the more Nektar Points (NKP) you earn. At the end of the campaign, you can redeem your NKP, use them to purchase merchandising or convert them into NK5.

NK5 will be distributed based on the proportion of your earn points to the total earn points of all users. You will be able to claim them to your EVM wallet at the end of the campaign, or keep them until the next campaign to have more points accumulated for the next allocation.

Mandatory Tasks

1. Follow Nektar, WSA and the IIA on X and like and share their pinned content (the first post on their profile pages)

2. Vote on Snapshot

3. Vote on Tally.

Tasks will be updated regularly and you will find the list of tasks directly on the campaign portal with a live countdown to let you know how long you have before the expiration of the task and the end of the campaign.

Voting

Voting will take place in two rounds : the first round to identify the finalists, and the second to select the Host Country by a simple majority.

The first round will take place on Snapshot and is available to anyone holding an EVM wallet. The second round will take place on Tally and is available to any verified citizen over the age of 18. You will be invited to prove your identity (KYC) before voting on Tally.

Voting on Snapshot will take place the following way :

• There will be a minimum of 3 votes on the Nektar Snapshot space. The first vote will be called on January X, 2026. The last vote will be called after no less than 1,000,000 votes have been recorded.
  
  

• Anyone holding an EVM wallet may connect to the Nektar Snapshot space and may vote for one (1) state.
  
  

• The five (5) states receiving the greatest number of votes shall be the final candidates for hosting the International Academy and shall move to the second round of votes on Tally.

Voting on Tally will take place the following way

• The vote on Tally shall be called no less than thirty (30) days after the five (5) states have been selected during the Snapshot vote.
  
  

• Each registered citizen shall have one (1) vote and all matters before the selection of the state hosting the International Academy shall be decided by a majority of the votes cast.
  
  

• There will be a minimum of 2 votes. The three (3) states receiving the greatest number of votes on the first round of votes shall be the final candidates for hosting the International Academy.
  
  

• When three (3) states have been selected, a second vote shall be held. The state hosting the International Academy shall be selected by a simple majority of the votes and shall be deemed to have been selected by all such votes.

Leaderboard & Referrals

Influencer that promote the campaign will have received a referral code that will be used to invite others to join and perform tasks in support of the campaign. In the Leaderboard section of the campaign portal you will see the list and rank of users based on both their total NKP and successful referrals (see Influencers for more information). The only information visible to the public is a wallet address, adding a sense of privacy and competition to the campaign.

The Leaderboard combines two scoring types:

• NKP Score (earned through tasks)

• Referral Score (based on successful invites)

Achievement Badge

Achievement Badges will display your achievements. These badges are broken down per phases and highlight your accomplishments, progress and achieved milestones as an “Active Citizen” or as an “Influencer”.

Referrals

If you opt to become an Influencer you will receive a unique referral code that you can share with others to promote the campaign and your country. This referral code tracks how many citizens you’ve referred to the campaign, will help the campaign grow organically, will allow you to earn more badges and NKP and boost you on the leaderboard. Your referral count with the number of successful referrals you’ve made will be automatically populated in the Referral Card.

Score

This section shows your performance at a glance, displays the score of each citizen, NKP earned and showcases real-time progress.

Rank

This section is a highlight of your position on the leaderboard and in the campaign. It is displayed beside the Score. Remember, this is a competition and everyone wants to climb higher in the leaderboard to earn more NKP and NK5 so be active, create your community and engage them to join and vote !
