Alberto da Silva Dias

Mr. DIAS is the Director of the World Sports Alliance Academy in Guinea Bissau. He is responsible for establishing the National Academy of the Alliance, whose mission is to select young talents in the Olympic sports chosen by the country. He brings high-level expertise in sports policy, civil society and the sports industry to the Alliance's Global Center of Excellence and International Academy.

After obtaining the diploma of physical education and sports teacher, Mr. DIAS went  on to teach at the ENEFD, national school of physical education and sports and is currently a Senior Official at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

These titles allowed him to occupy numerous national and international positions: Director General of Sports, Director of the National Stadium, President of the Athletics Federation, Secretary General of the Football Federation, Deputy Secretary General of the Olympic Committee and head of mission to the Olympic Games from Atlanta 1996 to London 2012.
